Later that day . . .
So new I am to this idea of blogging that I cannot seem to let it go. I am timid and shy, this is not like a journal, so deeply aware I am of its purpose: to invite comment. Tonight I shape the conversation. How do you become Pope? Imagine the calling, imagine the vision.
My folks could never remember what I was studying in college. I was an interdisciplinary kind of student; my major was "urban studies". Once, while driving up to Boston University, my father suggested that I might consider becoming a librarian so I would always have something to fall back on. Little did I know . . .
